Second analysis of a contents page

The steryeotype we generally link with rap and hip hop is normally lots of gold jewellry/bling, baggy clothes and poses with lots of attitude. This magazine contents page showS this clearly meaning that when we look at it we can make a connection with the rap/hiphop music genre.
The font used is big and bold and really clear. It almost looks powerful as it is taking over the top of the image, These features represent the music genre. The main image takes over half of the page and the writing takes up the other half. This way the picture is clear whilst all the contents are on the page but there is not too much writing to bore the reader. The contents page is taken from "XXL" magazine which is a magazine that focuses on this genre of music therefore we can also link the name with the music.
